Ingredients
  

  • 6 slices Brioche bread
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk or heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • a pinch of salt
  • 2 tablespoons butter (for cooking)

Instructions
 

  • Step1. Make the Custard
    Whisk together 3 eggs, 1 cup milk or heavy cream, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 1 tbsp sugar, 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional), and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Smooth out the mixture.
  • Step2. Dip the Brioche
    Cut brioche into 1-inch thickness slices. Dip each slice in a custard mixture, making certain it soaks 10–15 seconds on each side to let the flavors penetrate the bread.
  • Step3. Browning the Pan Step
    over a skillet or griddle to medium heat and insert a knob of butter to melt slightly and begin to bubble. Add the bread
  • Step4. Cook Toast
    Arrange the saturated slices of brioche evenly in the pan. Cook both sides for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy on the outside
  • Step5. Serve and Enjoy
    Serve French toast hot with your favorite toppings, including maple syrup, whipped cream, fresh berries, or powdered sugar.
