Ingredients
  

Core ingredients

  • 1 Box Graham crackers
  • 2 packets vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 ounces whipped toppings
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup heavy cream

Optional add-ins

  • 2 cups Fresh strawberries or bananas, sliced
  • ¼ cup crushed nuts
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • ¼ cup caramel sauce

Instructions
 

  • Step1. Stiff Creamy Filling
    1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together two cans of vanilla pudding mix and 3 cups of milk. Thereafter, whisk until such a time that the mix thickens, which usually should take about 2 minutes to 3 minutes.
    2. Fold in an 8-ounce container of whipped topping (or homemade whipped cream). Mix slowly until the filling is smooth and fluffy.
  • Step2. Assembling the Layers
    1. Spread a thin layer of pudding mixture over the bottom of a 9x13-inch baking dish to prevent sticking.
    2. Arrange a layer of graham crackers over the pudding. Break crackers as needed to cover the entire base without overlapping.
    3. Spread a generous layer of pudding mixture over graham crackers. This coat must be even.
    4. Keep repeating the layers: graham crackers, pudding, graham crackers, and pudding. It will end with pudding mixture.
  • Step3 Preparing the Chocolate Ganache
    1. Place 1 cup chocolate chips in a heat-proof bowl.
    2. Heat 1/2 cup heavy cream in a saucepan until it begins to boil. Pour the cream over the chocolate chips and let it sit for a minute.
    3. Stir smooth and glossy.
    4. Allow the ganache to cool slightly before pouring it evenly over the top layer of pudding. Spread with a spatula for that polished finish.
